What are the ingredients in Chilli & Spice chilli oil?

We create our deliciously spicy chilli oil using our secret blend of fresh garlic, soy sauce, chilli flakes, and sunflower oil.

How spicy is Chilli & Spice chilli oil?

Our small batch chilli oil has been made with a medium level of spice, to suit a broad range of palettes and tastes. Based on your feedback, we may look to create an extra spicy version in the future.

What is the shelf life of Chilli & Spice chilli oil and does it need to be refrigerated?

We recommend that you store your jar of chilli oil in a cool dry place after opening it, and stir before serving. We've noted a best before date of 6 months after the production date, to ensure you experience the best flavour profile of your chilli oil. If you're like us and enjoy adding a drizzle of chilli oil to most meals, we warn that your jar won't last anywhere near this long! 

How much Chilli & Spice chilli oil is included in each jar?

Our 270g jars are packed to the brim with the good stuff, filling them predominantly with our dense chilli blend, engulfed in a flavour bomb of oil. All Killer, no filler.

Is Chilli & Spice chilli oil gluten-free?

While Chilli & Spice chilli oil is not 100% gluten-free, it is low in gluten, with our ( NATA-accredited) lab tests detecting less than 5ppmm (5 parts per millimetre) of gluten. 

Is Chilli & Spice chilli oil vegan/vegetarian?

While we are not vegan or vegetarian accredited, our chilli oil is 100% vegan and vegetarian friendly. It does not contain any animal products.

The only ingredients in our chilli oil are garlic, soy sauce, chilli flakes, and sunflower oil.

Does Chilli & Spice chilli oil contain nuts?

Our chilli oil does not contain any nuts or nut products.

Does Chilli & Spice chilli oil contain preservatives or additives?

Our chilli oil does not contain any preservatives or additives.

Chilli and Spice Co. is based in Canberra, ACT, Australia. Our company is proudly Australian made and Australian owned.

Ordering and delivery

When will my order arrive?

For orders in Australia expected delivery times are 2-8 days depending on the day the order is placed.

Can I track my order?

Our delivery partner Sendle will send you updates as our chilli oil takes its journey to your home ready for you to drizzle on your favourite meal, or eat by the spoonful.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship our delicious spicy chilli oil everywhere in Australia, and aim to be shipping worldwide very soon, hold tight!

Returns

What do I do if my product has arrived damaged?

We aim to ensure each jar of Chilli & Spice chilli oil is packed, sealed and delivered so that it arrives to you perfectly. However, we do use a partner to ship across Australia and sometimes products can get damaged in transit. If this is the case, please get in touch with us at chilliandspiceco@chilliandspiceco.com.au to let us know what has happened and we will aim to resolve it as soon as we can. 

How do I return an item?

Please contact our customer service team via chilliandspiceco@chilliandspiceco.com.au . Providing the return is within the 14-day cancellation period and meets our return criteria, we will issue you with a return note by email. You need to print this off and attach it to the packaging of the product when returning it to us. 

How long does it take to return an item?

This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within three days after receiving the item into our warehouse, but it can take several days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund into your account, or onto your card.
